The Leatherback Turtle is one of the biggest Turtle in the world and it is a rear and endangered species found on the shores of Lbabia and Yambo villages just outside of Lae City, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. There is a leatherback Conservation at the Lababia and Yambo villages.
Leatherback Turtles are also considered threatened due to fishing and sea pollution.
